Course Curriculum
D. N. High School, Jamtara, provides a comprehensive and enriching educational journey up to Standard XII. To thoughtfully cater to the distinct developmental stages of our students, the school is divided into three specialized sections:
Kindergarten
Our eco-friendly Kindergarten section provides a uniquely nurturing and vibrant environment for our youngest learners. We prioritize the holistic development of every child through a carefully balanced mix of formal and informal activities, both indoors and outdoors. From singing, recitation, and games to structured physical education, every activity is designed to spark curiosity and joy. Signature events—such as our Rhyme Time program, cultural festivals, sports meets, and Prize Day—provide a wonderful platform for children to confidently showcase their blossoming talents.
Junior School
Encompassing Standards I through VI, the Junior School represents the largest and most dynamic segment of our student body. To actively cultivate latent talents and encourage creative expression, children are introduced to diverse extracurricular clubs, including Dramatics, Quiz, and Vocal Music. Alongside a robust academic framework, we maintain a strong, unified focus on sports and physical fitness. Furthermore, engaging educational excursions and recreational trips provide the perfect finishing touch to our students' all-around development.
High School
In the High School section, we firmly believe that academic rigor must be matched with an equal dedication to co-curricular and extracurricular pursuits. This balanced approach ensures that the unique potential within every student is fully explored and nurtured. Alongside English and Hindi, students are offered Sanskrit to broaden their linguistic horizons. To foster specialized interests and teamwork, every student in Standards VII and VIII is required to actively participate in a club of their choice, with options ranging from Quiz and Drama to Music and Gardening.
