Academic Terms and Holidays

There are three terms in each academic year :

In October, there will be a short vacation for Durga Puja, Deepawali and Chhat Vacations will be of two weeks. The summer holidays will be for about four weeks, from the second week of May will the second week of June. In addition to the above, certain public holidays are also given when the boarders may go to their natives.

According to CBSE pattern, three units & three term examinations are oragnised during each session. Term examinations takes place at the end of each term. The standard question papers and the evaluation of answer sheets is strictly maintained to give a clear and original picture of progress to the students. The school does not believe in decorating the mark cards to make the parents happy.

From its inception, the school has been maintaining high academic standards. In order to achieve this high academic standard the school place equal responsibility on the students, teachers and parents. The school believes in the old adage, All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy and hence promotes extra curricular activities like games, music, craft, arts, clubs, electronics and S.U.P.W.

Students are encouraged to be punctual, attend morning assembly, come to neatly attired. Even though corporal punishment is not exercised. The school is able to maintain a high level of discipline among its students.

The children are urged to participate in various activities and programs of the school. This provides an opportunity for the identification of inherent talents in the children. From a very young age leadership qualities in the children are identified and developed and when they leave the precinct of the school, they are fully equipped to be resposible citizen.
