The life and activities in D. N. Academy Residential is dedicated to the God, the divine master and all our endeavour draw strength from His eternal reservoir. We believe that our effort will be fruitful only if it is anchored in the Divine. Our students are guided to lead a life based on faith in God, the apex of our core values. Daily meditation and common prayer in our well furnished, artistically designed prayer hall help them relate personally with the divine in tranquility, and thus interact with the fellow beings without any restrant. Regular prayer sessions help the students to grow in faith and tradition.
To support the students in their learning activities, the school provides specially equipped study rooms. Students are both individually and collectively resposible for switching off the lights and fans when not in use. Silence must be maintained in the study hall to avoid disturbance to others.
The school maintains not only a growing library with books and journals but also a well equipped Digital system that includes educational CDs, Competition Preparation CDs and Competitive Exam CDs. They serve to enhance and reinforce the student's comprehension skills.
The computer lab is equipped with the best-configured systems and Internet connection so that the students may update themselves on the latest developments in specific areas of their interest. Within the campus you will find ideal training grounds for a wide range of outdoor sporting activities. An Aerobic room afford the students and the staffs, a healthy life-style. Regular exercise in the morning and specially institued Yoga classes aim at marshalling the student's mental energies and enhancing their powers of concentration. The school has made provision for both outdoor sports like Basketball, Football, Tennis, Cricket and Track & Field events as well as indoor sports like Shuttle/Badminton, Table Tennis, Chess etc.
The school recognizes health benefits of a balanced diet in the all-round development of an individual. Toward this end, the kitchen serves up dishes that are rich in both nutrition as well as hygienic values. In keeping with the heightened levels of hygiene consciousness the dining hall comes with a squeaky-clean and attentive service. The menu offers the choicest range of delectable vegetarian dishes. The kitchen is open everyday during the specified meal hours.
Each room houses 15 students and is furnished with individual bed and individual storage space for clothing. Each piece of furniture should be kept located in its original position. Residents will be held resposible for any damage and charged accordingly.
An in-house infirmary serves to meet the normal healthcare needs of the residents. It is equipped with a bed, table, first-aid kit and a minor OT. It is backed up with a well-known hospital in the locality, which is one kilometer away from the campus, for emergency situations. The school may conduct medical checkups, which are administrated by doctors from various reputed hospitals in the city.
The school provides house-keeping service everyday. In accordance with the schedule mentioned on the message board, all residents are urged to make their rooms available to the maids. Any remarks, complaints or suggestions about the maids working can be deposited at the front desk. Note that maintaining tidiness in the personal as well as the common living spaces constitutes an everyday responsibility of each resident.
